Any mamas here have twins at home unassisted (or even twin homebirths, assisted?) I'm slowly getting back on board the UC train after the inital shock and psychosis the twin diagnosis caused
: and my OB's refusal to even let me attempt or think about a VBAC, and I'm trying to do my homework on the specifics of twin birth and get DH totally comfortable with and educated about it, but what I'm REALLY looking for are twin UC stories that I can point to and say "See? They did fine!" (which for some reason works so well, for my husband's brain, anyway!)

I would LOVE to read any birth stories regarding UC twins, be they yours or someone else's (I've read through the twin ones on the main UC websites, and a few twin homebirth stories on BirthLove, and Psalm and Zoya, of course, but I'm looking for more!) I was initially terrified, but after watching the unassisted twins video and doing some reading last night, and knowing that this is what my babies would prefer, I am nothing but excited, and even my husband has come around to being totally receptive to the idea- we had been planning a singleton UC but I felt so strange early in my pregnancy that I did end up seeing my doctor, and ding ding!- twins.

Thanks!

Thank you!

Hello, Congrastulations! I think it helps to look at it as Two separate births one right after the other. I have read quite a few but not sure where exactly!

Hey, I was just browsing through here for info and saw your post. I think it's really neat that you're still looking into a UC. I think you could really do it
I keep getting the fear of twins so far, and I doubt I am pregnant with twins, but the thought is scary! I wish you all the luck in the world with it all.

I don't know her personally, but am on a list (where I mostly lurk) with a woman named Robin Rabenschlag who is a mw in San Antonio TX. She herself is a mom of twins and specializes in twin births and is extremely knowledgeable on the subject of twin homebirths. I know she is nowhere near you, but I am sure she could give you a ton of good information.

You can learn more about her here:

Oh- and good for you for trying to take control of your birth!!
