<span><span style="font-family:'Comic Sans MS';"><i><span style="font-size:medium;">I collect them. Pictures, ceramics, toys you name it. I do think that at one time they did roam the earth. I was wondering how many out there agree with me <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin"><br><br><br>
Just to clarify I mean the horse like creature with a single horn growing out of the middle of the forehead.<br><br>
There is a antalope type animal that lives in the deserts of egypt that is called a unicorn it is very large but it has 2 horns.</span></i></span></span>

They are mythical and never existed, but they sure are beautiful. But I think all horses are beautiful.

I think creatures that show up in the mythology of several cultures have a better chance of having existed at some point in time. I don't think they were magical.
