My 2nd DD was born one hour shy of her EDD, going by my LMP.
Since I know when I ovulated, and have long cycles, that was really 37 weeks after conception.
My water leaked just a little during in early labor, and finally broke as baby's head was born, pushing the rest of her body out in a big gush. With my firstborn, my water broke at 37 weeks (probably 36, but I wasn't charting at the time) and labor never started.
I knew the day before that it was almost time. I lost my mucous plug, and the rushes started coming a bit more regularly, though they never were really "regular" even through the pushing stage.
Hang in there! Baby will be born when the time is right.
