Aside from the Unschooling Handbook, are there books you have found helpful on your journey? I have a nice gift card to Borders and I'd like to expand my own mind a little about filling our home with things that are helpful to my kids in their unschooling adventure.

Im not looking for anything specific, just curious what books you or your kids have enjoyed.

My dd is only 2.5 but I'm reading Real Lives: eleven teenagers who don't go to school tell their stories and it's very inspiring. I got it from the library, and since it's the 10th anniversary edition it has an update on each of the kids (now in their 20s) and it's neat to hear their thoughts on how unschooling shaped them. makes me sad I wasn't unschooled as a youth.

I would also say the Unschooling Unmanual by Jan Hunt, but also Rue Kream's Parenting a Free Child, An Unschooled Life.
Both are awesome!
