So I finally got insurance and finally got in to see the OB I found, who is suppose to be really good. She did my pap and even though I thought I wasn’t bleeding today, I was (on the inside). First thing out of her mouth was does the blood always look this way? I guess I had not really thought about it...but it does look different then regular menstrual blood. She said she thought it looked like it had puss in it, so she went to look at it. She came back and said yeah it looks like you have bacterial vagintis. I had also told her about how back 18 months ago I had the piece of retained placenta come out...and no one ever did much checking to see if it all came out. She thinks maybe it could have something to do with that or that it could just be bacterial vaginitis. She sent me up to the hospital to have both a regular ultrasound and the internal ultrasound done. She also thought that maybe I might need a d&c I'm alittle affraid of that but probabley only becasue I dont know much about it. They should know more by tomorrow, I am just really excited someone is FINALLY going to try and help me! Just had to share!

Yes, it's good to finally have a prognosis. Good luck with that mama and keep us updated. Read all you can about D & Cs so you feel educated. That will help with any fear you have.
