Hi
We are back from Childrens. Everything went great, the Dr. was able to remove the mass easily. After the inital look at the cells under a microscope it looks like its a hemangioma (apparently Ollie is one of the few 10% that can't be diagnosed with the MRI). We have a follow up appointment on Wednesday were we will get the full report after they have had a chance to look at it more closely. Ollie woke up really quickly and then nursed for an hour lol guess he had to catch up. We're home now and resting. Thank you everyone for your thoughts
So glad to hear the initial findings look good. I feel like this is a sign that things are going to come out okay for my friend who is having a CAT scan as I type. Good things comes in threes, right?

My last update this whole ordeal is finally over. Final report is the mass was a hemangioma which is benign and nothing to worry about. We will have to go back in 6 months just to make sure if it grows that its not interfering with normal muscle growth. Now I get to worry about snuggling and nothing else oh and planning our as dh is calling it OK's ok party (Ollie Kai's ok party lol)
thank you all for your support and thoughts I appreciate it so much.
now lets talk about happy things!!! Whats everyones babies doing? Ollie is rolling and army crawling sorta he can sure get around when I let him, he's frustrated at me cause I haven't been giving him floor time to scared he'll open his incision. Other then that hes started reaching for things, he thinks his big sister is hilarious a loves to watch her they are so sweet together. So how is everyone else?

That's wonderful news, Janessa. You sound so calm about it. It must be a huge relief . Have fun at his party!

Daniel's first two teeth came through today! Hasn't bitten me yet, but I'm just waiting . He started rolling front to back last week (or the week before - it's going so fast!), but doesn't get much floor time, so sometimes forgets he knows how : . He gets cuter all the time, grabbing for everything & also loves his big sister (& she loves him, so that's a bonus). He is eyeballing our food much more intently than dd ever did. I think he'll be an early eater, we won't be able to keep it away from him . He's also a great sleeper - slept 10 hours straight (9:00 pm-7:00 am) the other night . Unfortunately, I didn't go to bed until about 1:00 am .

Wish I could figure out a way to post a picture here

Yippeee! I'm so glad to hear your news. I can only begin to imagine how relieved you must feel.

Let's see ... what is Eli doing? He is starting to roll from side to side, but hasn't done a complete roll over without our assistance. He likes to play on his back and do tummy time. He adores our dog--she gets the most smiles and laughter. And he found his feet and likes holding onto them with his hands. Basically, he is an incredible joy. He usually sleeps from 9 until anywhere from 2:30 until 5:30. (He sleeps in his carseat, then moves into our bed whenever he wakes up, where he continues to sleep/nurse until about 8:30).

Yay for Ollie!

I am so glad to find out everything is ok and to find this thread, I haven't been on the boards lately but have kept you all in my thoughts.

Iris is crawling and we are trying to move around the rooms in our house since my brother has moved out into the studio next door. I HATE playpens but have opened up the untouched one we got for DS from a relative. I just thought we would have more time to finish the kids room before she was mobile.

Babes wakin', gotta go,
Wow - already !!?? She's only 3 weeks older than ds & I don't see him doing that any time soon. Is she sitting up? I think he will be doing that pretty soon (if I can get him to stop standing : ) & dd never did crawl, so we'll see.
Good to hear from you

She does this pose we call "the tripod" where she will squat on her knees and prop herself up with one arm so the other can explore stuff but she can't really sit unsupported yet.
Also her crawling is still being refined. It's kinda like a chameleon, where she'll move one arm forward tenatively and then move the other. Her legs seem to know where they're going but her arm's are a little unsure.
Also, after she was born our MW said she looked like she was 2-3 weeks late! So really could be a 5-5 1/2 month old developmentaly.

I don't know how to ask my MIL if there is any Peking acrobat in her family without affending her ; ) (she's from Hong Kong).
Ollie likes to army crawl, we was getting pretty good at it at 4 months(put him down he'll roll over and be a few feet away in 10 minutes or so) but he hasn't had a chance to practice. I'm sure once his incision is healed he'll be off to the races. I'm so not ready lol. Shiah didn't crawl until she was 8 months or so I really didn't expect this. Ollie can't sit up yet even though he really wants to if you lay him down he does crunches I want his abs
