How far from the control line will the "pregnant" line show up. I have an internet cheapie and I tested this morning <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/eyesroll.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="roll"> (I know, I know) at 7 dpo. I got a faint line but it was far to the left of the control line, not where I would expect it. My tests have a dark blue handle. I got them at AccuratePregnancyTests.com. I was just wondering if anyone could let me know or show me a pic. I'll try to post a pic in the AM. (I have to work all day today<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/irked.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="irked">: We had a call in).<br><br>
Thanks so much if anyone could help me out.<br><br>

You'll probably find helpful pictures at peeonastick.com! I don't have any pictures of my old BFP ones or I'd show you.

Thanks! That does help a lot. I think It's negative but the line that showed up is in the center of the shiny white strip to the left of the positive line. Very weird. I'm just going to cross my fingers that I'm testing too early and hope that it's the start of a bfp<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin"><br><br>
I guess we'll see in a few more days.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/fingersx.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="fingersx">:<br><br>
Thanks again<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

That's exactly what my test looks like. Isn't that line on the wrong side....or not close enough to the control line...it just doesn't seem right.<br><br>
Why do I do this to myself

Clearly there's a line there, but it does seem a little too far over. Not to mention, this would be a VERY early BFP. Not impossible, but rare. GL!

My thoughts exactly! I just think those progression pics like donnamr3211's are so neat and I'm really hopeful for this month. Why can't lines just be where they are supposed to be or not be, kwim<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/eyesroll.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="roll">

still getting the same thing. Funny pink line way to far over. I'm going ahead and marking them as bfn on my chart. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed though.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/fingersx.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="fingersx">:

It looks to me like the line your seeing is on the right side of the controll line if your where holding it so that the urine travels to the right? I think that could just be the build up of the dye color at the end of the stick that the urine pulls with it as it travels down. I have seen that before. But I do agree with a PP who said it may look like a very faint line (where it should be). Keep us updated, and GL!!!! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/dust.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="dust">

Okay, I held it for 3 hours this afternoon after lunch.....and I got a faint, faint line where it is supposed to be. I'm a little shocked right now. Kind of scared because of yesterdays cramping and I don't really know if I believe it yet. I'm only 10dpo<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/yikes.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="EEK!"><br><br>
If there is still lines when my original test date of Friday at 12dpo rolls around, I'll make the official announcement. Right now, I'll just stare at my pee stick for a little while longer.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment">

Told ya so <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1"><br><br>
I had some slight cramping with my pregnancy with DS. Turns out it was because there was a corpus luteum cyst on my ovary causing the cramping. It went away after a week or so, and so did the cramping.<br><br>
Congrats, and may the bean be sticky <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">
