So, my 4 month old was born tongue-tied and midwife said it wasn't too much and we haven't had any nursing issues so we haven't had it cut yet, but after looking at a lot of information on that issue we discovered that her upper gum is tied also and we plan to get that one cut when she is older before her adult teeth come in. And then it dawns on me yesterday to check my sons (almost 9yo) gum because his top two teeth are coming in crooked and uneven and yep, its tied too!

So now what? I want to get it clipped. Has anyone had this done and if so how much did it cost (before insurance if you know) and did you just go to the regular dentist or did you have to see a specialist? And did you see improvement in the child's teeth or did they end up with braces?

Thanks.
