I only have time for this today:
Us IS Them.
I heard a soldier in Iraq say once on a show, something to the effect that once you kill someone, you've killed a piece of your own self and soul.
I believe that deeply.
But hey, for me, many things are clear and simple like that, because I look in someone's eyes and see myself and the universe all at once.
Seperation from and therefore comparison between, is illusion. I know it intellectually, but it's hard for me to feel any kind of unity with some other Americans right now....and maybe for the foreseeable future too.
I fall short all the time.
