No, you can't unless you cover them. The microfiber can't be against the babies skin as it pulls too much moisture away and can cause reactions. You could sew a cover to slip it in or one that stays on it all the time. Then you wouldn't have to worry about it.
If you can sew, you could make a pouch out of microfleece or suedecloth, or just sew it right on top of the insert. You'll cover the mf, and have a stay dry diaper <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin">
