okay, I get that there's the "ONE THREAD" -- but there are also so many other threads where I feel like I can get support and give it here.

How do you decide which thread to frequent? I'd like to get to know some other ttc'ers, but how?

I post in The One Thread for the most part, and in the newbie ttc thread and the 2WW thread (when it's appropriate).

I come here DESPITE the fact that I am not quite sure how to use this particular forum very well yet.

I prefer to use the topic-specific threads rather than the one thread, et al. I find it too difficult to keep track of everything going on in the huge threads and the dynamic in there is that many posts address the most recent updates from the various users, which many users enjoy doing, but I would feel burdened and resentful.

That's a very good question. I personally love to hang out in the newbies thread (though 2 more cycles and I'll have to leave there

) But I also post on the 2ww thread (when aplicable) and occasionally the TTC in our 20's thread. I feel most comfortable on the newbies thread because everyone is always cheering for you. (right frog?)
