'BOUT TIME!!! The VA finally agreed to approved the pentacle as one of the emblems available to be engraved on veterans' gravestones in national cemetaries. They've even agreed to retroactively approve the pentacles requested in the past, including the one on the stone Sgt. Patrick Stewart, the soldier whose widow has been fighting to have the pentacle on his stone ever since his death in combat (I think it was last year).<br><br><a href="http://www.witchvox.com/va/dt_va.html?a=uswa&c=military&id=11738" target="_blank">Here</a> is an article about the approval and <a href="http://www.cem.va.gov/cem/hm/hmemb.asp" target="_blank">here</a> is the VA's page of approved emblems. The pentacle's already been added to the page! It's #37.<br><br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/jumpers.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="jumpers">: <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/partytime.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="partytime">
