I was musing on why I feel vaccinating goes perfectly with natural parenting, and I found that someone else online had the same thoughts. Though it would be helpful to share.

I do find it interesting when people in the natural parenting community draw a line at vaccines being too unnatural (especially if we go by the dictionary definition of anything man made being unnatural) since there is nothing natural about putting your kids in car seats and driving to the store or park, like the article pointed out. Walk or ride a horse the natural way! Oh and don't use a helmet if you ride a horse...those aren't natural ;)

Right. Also antibiotics are pretty unnatural. I don't think there's many parents who'd refuse them on those grounds if a doctor said their child needed them.

I wonder if more vaccines were orally administered there'd be less concerns about them being unnatural...
