Does anyone know if the Vaccination law in Wyoming recently changed? Our town hall was swamped last night with kids getting vaxed because the schools weren't letting anyone not up-to-date on shots attend school stating that the legislation had just changed. Does anyone know if this is true or if we're just being misled?

I know they're aren't many who post here, so I'll ask over in the vax forums as well.

Thanks!

I think that the schools are requiring the chicken pox shot now. I don't know that anything else has changed in the law - but that has.

As far as I can tell, they haven't changed a thing. http://wdh.state.wy.us/familyhealth/immunization/SchoolResourcesSchoolImmRecs.html

Do you have the religious exemption? I got mine from the Uinta County Public Health (know you're in rural Wyoming, but that doesn't narrow it down lol), had it notarized at the bank and sent it in no problem. The most recent court case basically decided that personal belief is enough to constitute as religious exemption.

That's good to know. My LO is only 19 mo so we don't have to worry about it for a while, but I do like being in a state that doesn't make you jump through a million hoops if you don't vax or selectively vax.

Hmm the law didn't change, I suppose they just cracked down on kids who were behind but vaxxed.... I was aware of religious only exemptions, so you cannot vax selectively. All or nothing. Or did someone here get away with selectively vaccinating?
