Hi! I am looking for a pediatrician or naturopathic doc in central Phoenix. I have seen posts recommending docs in the east valley & Scottsdale, but we are more centrally located & would like a shorter trip to the doc...
We see a ped now at Pediatric Associates (16th & Northern), we are doing a delayed/selective vax schedule currently & he is pretty adamant about us doing all of them eventually, which we are still not sure about. Another bothersome thing, the office hands out paperwork at each well baby visit, and there is always info included like 'Babies sometimes cry for 15-20 minutes before going to sleep' and 'Don't let your infant sleep in your bed', etc. I am just not comfortable with seeing a ped. who endorses those things, however nice he may be (and he is very nice).
Is that normal, or are there docs in the valley who promote co-sleeping and are more open re. vax?
