My son is now a master diaper stripper when it comes to those with velcro or applix!!!
: Is there anyway to keep him in them or do I just need to admit defeat and change to snaps??? Please help!!!

I was just saying earlier today-I have to always put a onesie on ds otherwise he will tear off his diaper-he even tries it through the shirt! I have velcro-everything, I hated snaps...I hope you get some good advice/ideas, I can't afford to buy all new covers & diapers this late in the game. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you (us

I've heard some moms have put them on backward! My ds could strip at 5 months, so we switched to snaps

That's why I hate Aplix/velcro. DS started undoing covers or diapers with it at about 10 months of age. I prefer side snaps now(oh yeah, he can undo front snaps too)
Diapers with touch tape I think are very hard to get off. Is that what it's called? touch tape? Angel Wraps has them.

We pin our fitteds onto our son. He's mastered velcro and snaps.

Teehee, too funny!

I have to agree that Angelwraps has VERY sticky touchtape.

Put him in onesies. Ds can get off velcro or snaps. I personally prefer velcro because I can get a more snug fit, but it really doesn't matter because if ds wants it off, he can get either one off.

Oh, and the onesies were helpful when he went through a stage of putting his hands down his diaper, pulling his penis up, and then peeing out the top of the diaper.

yeah we use to do the onesie thing until he mastered pulling them off WITH clothes on, then we did the backwards thing, but now we have all snaps, so he doesnt try anymore, LOL
DD mastered the aplix, snap, and the side snap early on. We put the diapers on backwards if she was wearing something that did not cover up the diaper or we kept the diaper covered up. This stage lasted about 2-3 months

I guess I've gotten lucky with my dipe selections (Daisy-Doodles, Tx Bluebonnets, Changing Babies) - Chloe cannot get the touch tape undone yet.

Even the weakest velcro CD is stronger than the best 'sposie!
