DS was vaxed until 12mo when my gut instinct started screaming at me to stop. After doing a lot of reading and discussing it with you very helpful mamas, I decided to stop. DH and I were comfortable with that decision. Now I'm pregnant again, and I forgot all the reasons I didn't vax. I have a horrible memory and now that it's been about a year I don't even remember where I went to research etc.
If you have any good starting places please send me some links etc. I have a couple books, I'm going to read those again.
Also, one thing I really research was pertussis because DS was 12mo already but with this baby I'm a little concerned since I plan to not vax at all. Any info on that would be appreciated... like since babies can die from it, what kind of precautions are to be taken. Do I have to worry about them being in crowded areas etc??
TIA!

I would research each disease and vaccine individually.

I never did anything special for dd in regards to pertussis. She was born in August- so the height of pertussis season.

For pertussis, would you give your baby any supplements, like Vit C etc? Or take it yourself? We are always in the middle of a billion people so that's the only reason I worry - although I probably shouldn't. It's not like DS had immunity just because he got the vax and he was fine (altho they told me once had pertussis, and gave him abx - I really don't think it was actually pertussis though).

If she got pertussis, I would treat with vitamin c. Other than that I would nurse and not worry
