VERY intense braxton hicks

o, my this feels like early stages of labor. I don't remember tham ever getting so bad w both my pregnancies before. Takes my breath away, dang! And today is the only day I can get my house clean, but I just feel like sitting on the couch. My kiddos are killing each other upstairs and I don't even feel like climbing the stairs. This sucks!!

Mine are more intense this time around too. Sorry that they're so painful for you! I say forget cleaning the house and rest while you can. I'm a big proponent of doing nothing when possible.

If your instinct is telling you it may be more than braxton hicks~ listen to it Mama. Have you ever had preterm labor before?

Hope your feeling more comfortable very soon.

Water! Drink lots of water! If they don't calm down with lots of water and a little rest (or moving around if they come when you're resting), then I'd be a bit concerned about something that's painful. I'm getting BH that are tight and I feel pressure all around, but nothing painful. Definitely get checked out if it really feels like early labor stuff!!
Mine are massive too - they don't hurt, but feel like "real" contractions. I think it's just a 3rd baby close to #2 thing for me. I don't have to do stairs are anything like that, so I haven't noticed getting alot of them. But when I do, I find myself automatically going into hypnosis. Kind of kooky!
Thx for all teh advise, mamas. I think I might have been a bit dehydrated from yesterday. So I drank tons of water and rested on my left side, now I'm better.
Never had any preterm labor and I kinda figured it's nothing to worry about. Just got a little glimpse of what contractions feel like (like I'd ever forget
) and that surprised me.
