Any ideas? I'm returning to school f/t (pre-med), so have resigned. I have to do extremely well in hard courses, but hope to be able to work very p/t for a little extra money - maybe 10 hours/week.

Any ideas for such jobs?

I waitressed one shift a week my first two years of grad school and made about $80 a shift. That was an extra $300 a month!

Tutoring? I'm guessing that if you're pre-med you're good at math and science. Around here people charge a lot of money for a talented math and science tutor -- as much as $50 per hour. If you like older kids/teenagers and are good at explaining things that might be a good way to go.

our local school district pays substitute office workers $15/hr. They call you when they need you & you can say "yes" or "no".

Retail jobs are great for this sort of thing. A lot of big name clothing companies like Old Navy generally only like to schedule no more than 15 hours a week. Plus you get the benefit of a discount on clothes.
