So in my very pregnant short temper. I told my daughter I would spank her if she didn't behave (she is four and has never been spanked). I wouldn't have actually spanked her anyway. This is something my mom would have said... ahhh how I love how those things rear their heads.

But she looked at me and said, "you won't spank me, you love me!" at which point I had to admit she was right and totally lose any ounce of madness that was in my body.

I told my dd that too once. And I was pregnant as well. And she didn't believe me either, but I still felt like cr*p about it. It's lovely what those hormones do to you, isn't it?:

I am 37 weeks and short on empathy these days. It's the VOLUME for me. Loud voices make me nervous...and I have to say, my kids aren't loud. But when they even speak in a slightly elevated voice these days I LOSE IT. Just know it will disappear w/ the pregnancy!

I'm right there with you. And shamefully enough I've even been physical with the dog, whom I'm never physical with! And it sure doesn't help that DS is heading right into his 18mo sleep regression... and on top of that messed up from the time change... so now I'm sleep deprived AND hormonal...

*hugs* you're not alone.
