Does anyone have a video baby monitor that they like? Since DS2 is napping and starting nights out in the crib I want to watch him without running into our room every 10 min.

Just wondering what you like, what brands etc.

Thanks!

Also very interested in the question. I nurse DS to sleep in our chair, but then lay him down in our bed to sleep for a few hours before I join him. I have a regular monitor, but have been thinking a video monitor would bring me more peace. It would also help when he is engaged in quiet play and I want/need to run to the other room.

No problem!

I like it because it's portable and the camera is totally adjustable. You can mount it on a wall (or whatever surface), or you can just set it on the bed and aim it where you like.

It has a lot of neat features (it lights up according to what sounds the baby makes, it has very sensitive brightness and volume buttons, it clips onto your pocket. you can turn the video on or off, etc.) without a bunch of extra annoying bells and whistles. It was just what our family needed.

Just wanted to say; I tried a video monitor and didn't really like it. I felt like I had to watch it ALL THE TIME to what was going on. I personally really prefer a good audio monitor so I can hear it whenever she moves.

If you do wind up with a video monitor, make sure it *also* has good audio; the one I had the audio was completely unusable.
