Vintage Sailor's Ditty Bag -- Handmade afloat on the Salish Sea of Washington state
These ditty bags were designed after the original ditty bags that were issued to navy sailors in the early 18th century. They are constructed with a heavy 100% cotton duck cloth and stitched together with T135 UV bonded polyester thread for optimal strength. Includes heavy duty brass grommets, top full grain cowhide leather, twisted 3 strand rope, with hand whipped ends.
