I'm visiting a friend outside Greenville, SC at the end of the month. Other than the Greenville Zoo and of course beautiful downtown Greenville, does anyone have any suggestions for things to do in the area? I may be there for a whole week... I may be there for a few days and heading into Georgia for a couple days.

Also, last year I went at the end of March and it was unseasonably warm and had to go shopping... Looks like it's going to be high 70's, low 80's. Are you wearing shorts yet? I live in Rhode Island and we're having a pretty lousy spring so far so my temp radar is off.

Yeah, it's getting warm...we've been wearing shorts since last month off and on. If you enjoy hiking, table rock, jone's gap, caesar's head ntl parks are all in north greenville county...30 min drive...

I don't live there, but my g'pa does. Have you checked to see if anything is going on at Furman University?

(haven't checked the University yet)

Thanks so much for the great ideas... We do love the outdoors so the hiking ideas are great... I'll have to ask my friend about Hollywild... I've never heard of it before. The cool thing about the Greenville Zoo is that my current zoo membership in RI is valid there.

There is a new bounce-around place called Monkey Joe's. I've never been (they haven't opened one in S'burg yet), but I've heard great things!

I'm sorry I don't know about many greenville activities. However, I think you can go to http://www.upstateparent.com and do a search?
