so my blood test came back with a vit d level at 5.8. my doc is freaking and wants my to see a hemotologist, and start with 10,000 iu of vit d. quick research told me that is a toxic amount. i went to the co-op and picked up a d3, but now that i have it, i find that it is derived from wool oil. i really don't want to have to go back and exchange it for fish unless the difference is critical. anyone know about this?
my b12 is low also, but only184. everything else, she says, checked out, but i don't know what else that is.
anyone have a reading this low? did it turn out to be caused by an underlying condition? and did it resolve?
i went in for chronic fatigue symptoms, btw.
