Question.....I've been taking prenatal vitamins for 9 months now...ok....longer than that because I took them while I was pregnant. They say to continue taking your prenatals as long as you are nursing. Did you take that literally? or is there some point at which you can stop?
Thanks!

I personally do not eat as well as I should on a regular basis so I still take my prenatals. Benjamin is 15 months old too LOL The doctor didnt get it at first when I told him I needed a refill on my prescription
:

One thing is important though... its very important to take folic acid before you get pregnant again. Im sure thats the last thing you are thinking of now (ok well its the last thing Im thinkin') but IF you did get pg you want to know he or she would be getting that. If you dont mind taking them and its a part of your routine then keep it up! They are wonderful vitamins

I have been taking prenatals for... are you ready? 3 1/2 years!
I started taking them a few months before we got pregnant, then pregnant, nursing, nursing through next pregnancy and now tandem nursing!
Who knows how long I will be on them?
