My baby is sleeping on his own in our bedroom right now and has been happily snoozing for 45 minutes <i>without me</i>. The first day of kindergarten is going to be a real b!tch for me, isn't it?! I know, it's a good thing b/c now I can actually fold that basket of laundry that's been waiting for four days, but...<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/mecry.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="crying"> WAH!!! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/bawling.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="bawl"> This is the first time in seven weeks he's gone this long without hollering for me. I'm already becoming obsolete!!

I can relate and I feel so foolish! Last night DS hung out by himself in his room in his crib, totally content, for 20 minutes. I was actually able to eat dinner with DH. But it was so strange to be at home and not in the same room as DS!
