i have gone to some of the Waldorf in the Home conferences and done study groups. Honestly the conferences i thought were not that helpful. I tend to do a lot of reading and studying on my own, so the only interesting part about the training were the speakers (though did not tell me much new either). If you are not too familiar with waldorf then it might be much more interesting (i went to a waldorf school, my mom is a waldorf teacher, i worked at a waldorf kindergarten and done workshops... all before i had my ds).
I really like the idea of study groups. Its free, its on your terms and time and if you are in charge (which can be a lot of work) you can choose what is more pertinent to you and your situation. If you can find a few of parents (or not parents yet) who are interested that would be an awesome start.
ok, so i am not really answering the question, am I? I hope someone with more experience chimes in here to help you!
