I just noticed that BellaOnline has several open categories for section editors. Apply at http://www.bellaonline.com/misc/joinus/join_topics.asp here's the deal- you don't get paid, but you DO get a web-writing training class that's geared for the very beginner, you're allowed to place affiliate links in your articles, your site probably already has newsletter subscribers (mine had over 500) and you get instant "reach." ALSO- they have a program, once you've been there a few months- for turning your articles into an ebook, you get paid ALL the money for the ebooks and can advertise it throughout your site. You own all your own content and can take it with you when you leave there. It's an easy place for beginners. You only have to write one a week and you can post-date.
