The other day my husband had someone coming to look at our RV with an eye towards buying it. He said if I could put in an appearance in my pregnant state, that might be nice, since he told the man we are selling it because I'm getting ready to have another baby and he doesn't think it will be big enough for the 4 of us. I wasn't wearing maternity clothing that day, so I said I might just look fat and not pregnant. So I turned to the side and said, "Do you look pregnant in these clothes?" He started laughing and said yes. Then he said it looked like I had shoved our globe under my clothing. :LOL

Anyway, today I decided not to wear maternity clothes either, so I put on one of the stretchy shirts my mom gave me and some tight stretch pants that I wore in my last pregnancy. When I'm this far along, I can get away with it because I look pregnant and not just fat. Although I worry maybe I just look fat to some people and nothing announces pregnant belly like an oversized maternity shirt. Anyway, I just had my hubby take a photo. For some reason it makes me laugh. I look like I have no butt in this photo, but I have quite an ample one. 41 weeks

Hon, at this point I don't think you'd be likely to NOT look pregnant in anything.

I've found, ironically, that about half the clothes I have left that still fit aren't even maternity wear, just elastic-waisted skirts and large T-shirts...

I don't think that anyone could make that mistake. And I empathize. I never "announced" at work (due Dec), and people have finally got the nerve up to ask. Of course, it was my decision to be entertained by all the second looks and discerning stares. And their timid approach is too funny. I love it!

It's a wonderful picture--you look great! And not cranky at 41 weeks!

Well, the guy wanted to buy it, but he was from Sacramento and we are in Reno. It turns out that his credit union won't give him a loan to buy a vehicle unless that vehicle is already registered in CA. He could go to another bank to get a loan, but his credit union has a better rate. I don't think we can register it in CA since we are not residents, but there is probably a way. CA loves to get money from people--they've been sending me late registration notices for my car even though we moved a year and a half ago. Not that NV doesn't love to get your money as well, but I'm thinking if we said we wanted to garage the RV in CA, they'd let us register it. But it would involve my husband taking a day off from work and spending it at the DMV. Not good timing.

In any event, he is going to use the money from the RV to buy a sports car.
: Actually, I want the car he is buying, so I can't complain.

Thanks for the labor vibes, Beth. Something about going to bed at night seems to shut everything down. I've been sleeping well lately. My husband had to go to a class this morning for work and said, "I don't suppose you feel like pushing a baby out." I told him no, because I'm feeling fine today, not laborish at all. But I have a feeling it will be in the next few days.
