Aw thanks mamas <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><br><br>
I am considering making this part of a business, much more planning to do, though. We shall see how it goes, perhaps I just got lucky on those first ones :LOL You know, beginners luck, but I am learning a lot and working out the kinks.

Here's a few more I made. The green sherpa one is super yummy! Its lined in organic cotton sherpa <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/yummy.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="yummy"><br><br>
McKenna is modeling the green flowered dipe, too. I am loving the fit of these. I think I will forget about elastic in front as it just serves to squish her little buhda belly.<br><br>
Please excuse some of the blue fabric marker I was too lazy to wipe off completely <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment"><br><br><a href="http://www.shutterfly.com/osi.jsp?i=67b0de21b32f77160588" target="_blank">http://www.shutterfly.com/osi.jsp?i=...21b32f77160588</a>

They look terrific, and they look like they are from a seasoned seamstress, not someone just starting out.<br><br>
I have a side snapping diaper without front elastic and it works great (I have 8 more on the way)-- at first I thought it would droop in front without elastic, but it's exactly the opposite-- it stays up on the belly, even with a lot of activity.<br><br>
Did you use a pattern or come up with your own?<br><br>

Thanks Karla <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"> There arent too many things I have ever been naturaly good at, I guess this is my thing. I love making them.<br><br>
I bought a poo pockets pattern, but have never used it. I just measured some dipes I have and put together elements I like of other dipes I have and came up with this. Next Im going to work on scaling the pattern up and down for a toddler size and small size.
