I am not 100% yet, but I like the name Wilson (Willy or Wil) for a first name. I am thinking maybe Jack for a middle name (my beloved grandpa's middle name). I don't know though for sure, I don't want to say "wilson" and have 50 kids say "what?" I have been calling him Willy though, or Willy worm.. he moves a lot!

We're naming our little girl <span>Anaiah Conley Murphy</span>. Anaiah means "God has answered" and is biblical. Conley is my maiden name and Murphy is our last name.<br><br>
If by some chance she turns out to be a he then his name will be Dexter Isaiah, Dexter Isaac or Dexter Elijah and we'll call him by the middle name.

Well, we don't officially know what we're having, we have strong feelings that it's a girl based on when we did the BD and ovulated, and also my friend's DH has predicted with 100% accuracy dozens of babies' genders and says I have a girl inside...so with that said, I am will be relieved if this is true because we can't agree on a boys name.<br><br>
If it is a girl, she will have the first name Alana, pronounced Uh-Lawn-Uh, which is Hawaiian for "offering." I have the verse picked out for her announcement, if indeed it is a girl, Psalm 56:12-13, which talks about giving a "thank offering for delivering me...." I am from Hawaii, but it has been hard to find names because many are quite long, or taken already by friends of mine.<br><br>

If my instincts and the ultrasound technician are right, this baby is Zola Ianthe Maia, or maybe Zola Ianthe Cordelia, or maybe even Zola Ianthe Cordelia Maia, if I decide to be bold enough. If they're wrong, then the poor little guy doesn't have a name yet! I can't find a boy's name that feels right.

I remember being ticked that a certain cyberpunk author used Hypatia for the daughter of one of his characters and was convinced that all of my friends would just assume that's where we found it. I love that both women were very strong interesting people at a time where women were not expected to be either strong or interesting!<br><br>
if this should happen to be a boy we'll name him Elias (the only boy name we could even tolerate... maybe next pregnancy we'll find one with interesting historical figures attached to it?) Herschel (my husband's maternal grandfather who he had a very close relationship with.)

That is so funny because my son is named Levi, and so is our friend's dog, which I completely forgot about when we named him! So now when we go visit them, my friend will say, "No Levi! Down dog!" and my son will be so confused! Thanks for your feedback on the name though, I really do like it as well, I just like so many! But especially if we give birth beneath the cedar trees (I've actually thought about delivering outside in the birthing tub just to get the full effect, but it will be October!)....

That is so funny because my son is named Levi, and so is our friend's dog, which I completely forgot about when we named him! So now when we go visit them, my friend will say, "No Levi! Down dog!" and my son will be so confused! I guess that's what I get for keeping names a secret from my "real life" friends until the baby is born.....<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/nut.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="nut"><br><br>
Thanks for your feedback on the name though, I really do like it as well, I just like so many! But especially if we give birth beneath the cedar trees (I've actually thought about delivering outside in the birthing tub just to get the full effect, but it will be October!)....

Anaiah is beautiful! Not one I've noticed before, but very nice. And similar to our (still secret - shh!) name choice for a girl: Eliana. In Hebrew it means, "My God has answered." The only contenders, really, are perhaps Asher, Elijah (have friends with both of these already - though Asher is not a close friend and the Elijah goes by Eli)... maybe that's it? If it is a boy, Liam Jacob. We don't have a solid girl's name picked out yet and we didn't with dd until she was a few hours old. I like Charlotte, Scarlett, Mia, Ophelia and a few others, but we will see.

It's taken nearly nine months to even discuss with DH but I think we have narrowed it down to <i>Wren Victoria Robertson</i> We have named our daughters after something special in our lives (Jasmine and Amber) and Wren is a reminder of the cactus wrens in the desert where we were married and Victoria is where we met. Our other daughters have mn after grandmothers but we didn't like either of the Great-Grandmas names with Wren (Jean or Vera). Let's hope it isn't a boy or he will definately be nameless for awhile<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol">
