Just received 2 bum genius 3.0, I noticed the tag said no diaper cream. My daughter has to have diaper cream for her sensitive skin. Before I try these out I want to be sure I am not going to ruin the diaper by using diaper cream. I have read people mentioning "striping" the diapers before was, can someone please give me the details of this and how often, I think someone mentioned oxyclean?
Sorry for the ignorance

Because of the fleece, they say you should use a disposable diaper liner or a piece of fleece between your baby and the diaper when you have to use diaper creme...if you have to use it all the time you may find these diapers unmanageable. Many people say that they don't have to use creme at all with these diapers though...b/c the baby stays so dry.

Stripping just means washing and rinsing extra to get the residue off the diapers. See www.bumgenius.com for info -they say how to take care of BG diapers.

There are some diaper creams that are supposed to be OK for cloth diapers. I use Northern Essence without a liner with my bG diapers occasionally but I know they say not to. I haven't had a problem. I don't know if I'd do it every day though. Like PP said, you may find you no longer need diaper cream every day. When I had build up on my diapers due to detergent I striped them with Dawn. That's what their website suggests.

http://www.bumgenius.com/help.php
