Dd has red blochy dry spots on her belly. I am not sure why or where this came from. She did have some dry skin lately but it was not accompanied by redness. It now looks sore. She has been being a little fussy for the last couple of days. She is 7 mo and has been tasting some different foods lately. She has tried avocado, banana, sweet potato, zucchini, applesauce. All were organic and I didnt have any reason to suspect allergy. No change in soaps, lotions, etc. How can I treat this naturally?

its interesting that you say that b/c yesterday I was telling my Dh that I think she's cutting a tooth. She is being fussy like she was when she cut her first 2 teeth.

Also...
I had been holding back on the lotion (Burts Bees) for a bit but last night I put it on her b/c I thought we were clear. It must have irritated her skin further. I also think that she was a little too hot in bed last night. We were both a bit sweaty. Maybe that is related?

This happened to ds1 when I was eating a lot of peanut butter. It could also have been an allergy to the disposable diapers we were using at night.

Dr. Sears recommend putting baking soda in the bath water. it did help.
