OK, we are potty training and DS really doesn't use a dipaer that much during the day unless we go out, so that and for night time is it.

I SO don't want to run the washer for 5 diapers every 3 days, what do you all do? I thought about washing them with the towels. Any ideas?

When my 2nd dd was potty learning, we just had night dipes. I would do a cold prewash with the diapers, then wash them with the whites

Most of the time we are just using pocket trainers at night for dd and ds so I run the wash about every 4 days. The only problem with this is even though the stink is contained in the pail, the smell hits you like you know what when it is emptied into the washer.

On the occasions when we are going to be out for longer I and she wears a diaper then I do wash a bit sooner.

DD doesn't poop in diapers, so I just wash whenever the pail gets full, usually once or twice a week b/c she's naked most of the time :LOL

Before Nadia was born, I was washing Eva's diapers with my towels. I really think my diaper loads get cleaner than any other laundry, so I wash anything I want really clean with them.

I made sure any load with diapers in it didn't get fabric softener, and I added an extra rinse to keep the detergent from building up.
