I need to wash our wool covers, but don't have any wool wash...<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad"> what can I use in place of wool wash?

You can use baby wash, but then you for sure have to lanolize afterwards as the baby wash will strip it of lanolin.

Yeah, I used dd's shampoo for a long time....I didn't want to order wool wash online.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol">

i've used pure olive oil soap. it doesn't strip lanolin, but doesn't boost it either. so i lightly lanolize as a second step.

Thanks mama's...I ended up just "rinse" washing them and then re-lanolizing them...TOTALLY FORGOT you can use baby shampoo!...where's my brain today? <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/dizzy.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Dizzy">:
