One more question- can stockmar watercolors be used as a wood stain? How would one do that? Would you need to seal it if what you were staining was going to be played with by babies? With what would you seal it?<br>
Thanks!

Yes, you can use watercolors as a wood stain. If this is something a baby might put in her mouth, you can use kool-aid for the color and then seal it with the mineral oil that you would use on a wooden salad bowl. I made a set of blocks for DS like this and they came out great and lasted really well. Because of the kool-aid, they were also scented which was kind of cool.

Awexome, thanks. Would a beeswax finish work to seal it as well?
