Today, 2.5 year old dd and I were nursing on my bed, and she became distracted by her older brother, jumped up, and hopped down from the bed to see him. I assumed she was finished, so I pulled down my shirt. She came running back, yelling, "I wasn't done yet. Take the wrapper off so I can have more nur-nur." The adorable toddler comments are such a nice reward for nursing older ones!
We all know about THIS great benefit...

Nice... mine has started telling me WHERE he wants his "two miwks". On the hammock ("swing"), on the couch, on the bed, on the "nuhser" couch...

That's funny! My ds was very verbal, so we had lots of nursing funnies. Dd hasn't come up with any classics yet.
My favorite toddler funny happened when ds was about 2.5. Dh and ds were with me at the beginning of an orchestra rehearsal. Ds had already kissed me good-bye, and dh was holding him at the backstage door (talking to a friend). The whole orchestra falls silent, waiting for the tuning A when ds waves and yells "MOMMY! I NEED TO NUHSE!"
