We were desperate. We needed dinner and we just got home from a long car trip in the bad weather. Dominos was the only place open, so we got two plain cheese pizzas.

The next morning (this morning) we were ALL sick. Myself, my friend, all four of our collective children. Nausea, vomiting, runny poop... my son went to the school nurse with a stomach ache. My daughter had to get picked up early because she had two runny poop accidents (she NEVER has accidents, she's quite potty trained at this point)... worse, she can't go back tomorrow because the daycare's policy states that if a child vomits or has diarrhea (sp?) that they must be out at least 24 hours. So I have to miss work and keep her home tomorrow.

We're getting our money back, I already called them. I'm still really grossed out and kinda mad though. The pizza tasted fine. Nothing off whatsoever, and I'm pretty sensitive to tastes and smells. So I suspect that it wasn't a matter of spoiled food and that they either don't have the cleanest kitchen or that hand washing rules weren't strictly followed. Or both. I don't usually get fast food, and this is totally why (aside from a slew of other reasons).

Two questions...

WWYD? Complain the manager? Let it go?

and...

How can I help my kiddos feel better sooner? My son just barfed again after eating an apple. Poor guy. He's really hungry but he can't keep anything down.

i would probably report it to the health department. Chances are, you aren't the only ones who are sick.

Health department and a letter to the regional, etc. manager to tell them about this branch.

Ditto about calling the health department. Other people may have become ill after eating there. Do they have chicken as a topping there? If so, there is a strong possibility of cross-contamination.
I don't have any advice about your son. My kiddos generally don't want anything after they vomit. Have you tried letting him suck on a popsicle or frozen juice? Bland foods like dry toast or crackers will sometimes stay down in small bites.
Here's hoping you all feel better soon!
