I had only started reading about ECing today (for a very brief time at that) and wasn't really sure if I wanted to give it a shot. DD2 (6 weeks old) woke up from a really long nap and I was changing her diaper and she started scrunching her belly down like she was going to poop. So just for shits (no pun intended) and giggles I brought her to the bathroom, held her over the toilet, and to my wondering eyes she pooped! I couldn't believe it worked. So far she has pooped on the toilet 3 times tonight and I am just so surprised that it is this easy (so far). I know when she is done because she will grin from ear to ear every time.

I think I am hooked! I definitely want to give this a shot.

Isn't it funny how easy it is to get hooked! It doesn't have to be any more intense than you're already making it either--just an occasional opportunity to use the potty and then back into the diaper. Congrats
