We heard the Heartbeat!!!!!

We heart our baby's heartbeat for the first time yesterday at the midwives' office. It was soooooo exciting because we haven't had any ultrasounds, so it was the first time we've had any real contact with our babe.

Sigh...I'm so happy!

Same for us exactly.

DH was holding his breath. He said I didn't need to hear it, but I knew YOU needed to hear it!

It still seems weird, but slightly more real now.

How do we wait until december!?!?

Though I've been lurking for about a week, this is my first post. We heard our baby's heartbeat yesterday... I wasn't expecting to feel so relieved (guess I wasn't acknowledging my worry!). It definitely made this seem more real for me and my partner...

I'm so grateful to have found MDC. This is our first (late Dec), so it's great to hear about all of your experiences!
