I am ready to wean my 18 month old son. He has been partially weaned for over a month now, and he only nurses once in the morning and before bed. He does wake up a few nights a week to nurse as well, but its not consistent. My son went away for the weekend with my husband, and has been fine with milk. When he returns sunday night, I know he will ask to nurse. Should I take this as my opportunity to wean him, and try to distract him? If he insists, do I give in? I want to be as gentle as possible, but I am really ready to stop nursing. Thanks for any advice!
