I was thinking about how cute ds will be in his fancy new shorts and pants, but then I started thinking about how with his wool covers (Bumpy, Rolie Polie) we always air out in between changings. So, when people use knitted wool for the clothing AND cover, what about the dampness on the inside? I assume you don't air out between changings b/c that's their outfit for the day. Just wondering.

Some ppl put AIO's under the wool if they are going out so the wool doesn't get wet when they use them for clothes for the day. I've done that too. Or I'll just change DD every hour on the hour so the wool doesn't really get damp at all. Or if it does get damp I just make sure I have another coordinating wool/t-shirt outfit with me so we can rotate

At home Moose mostly just wears fitteds, coverless. When we go out I put the wool shorts on top. If he's changed before he's drenched the wool rarely gets very wet, in that case yes I just change the fitted and put the wool right back on. When we get home I'll air the wool. I've never had wool so drenched on an outing to need airing out, if that happens I can't see why he couldn't just play in a fitted while the wool is set aside until we need to go.

We use wool shorts almost all times for our shorts for the day. we just use them unless they are really wet then I always carry a back up pair of shorts to change in to if need be. We haven't had any problems with this system yet, but I change DS very often. i just like to see a another cute diaper on his lil bum.

i just try to make sure to change frequently, and have a good absorbant fitted underneath.

and since we are all wool all the time, and i don't actually buy clothes for my dd, i have a big enough stash that ALL colors are represented!

It is really hot here in Houston so I just find very thin white cotton shirts to wear with our soakers/shorts. This makes it easy to bring extra wool and not worry about matching. I use a simple well stuffed fitted. The wool is always the main attraction

I have not actually had to change wool due to dampness, but definitely for show offness :LOL
~No one else cd's or uses wool around me, but they all love to check out his cute diapers and covers.

I'm right by you
I live in Rosenberg!

We always wear wool as his bottoms for the outfit and I don't usualy have to change out the cover if I stay on top of his diaper changes, but I always pack along an extra cover just in case. (usualy one of my KP because I love them and because they are trim and don't take up a lot of room in the diaper bag.)
