Where is this month going? Crazy! I'm moving in a month. Eek!

Waiting for my antibiotics for a uti. They tested my urine and it came back positive for group B strep. Lovely. It's only seven days of antibiotics, but I still hate taking them. I'm taking probiotics right now too so that will help.

Otherwise, just my intestines hate me. My boobs and belly feel more pregnant this week. I'm hungry again, all. the. time. I need to take a new picture this week. Haha! I guess I will be posting in the pic thread next.

So sorry about the uti! I hope it clears up quickly!

I feel like I've been pregnant foreeeeeeeeeeeeever. 10 wks today. Everyday is the same. It's like Groundhog Day Pregnancy. Lie on the couch/bed day after day. Too sick to go anywhere, to sick to have company and too sick to play with my littles.

Get me out of here!

I've also realized since calling my midwife that I'm a total UPer at heart. I don't like feeling like I need to call and check with her about decisions or even consider her in my decision making. I don't like knowing someone might or might not approve of things I'm deciding or want to do. I'm totally arrogant like that.

And this is with a VERY laid back and hands off midwife.

Praying this week is a good one for everyone.

I have my ultrasound at 8 Am tomorrow. I'm so nervous. I feel like it's some sort of test. The last babies stopped growing around 6 or 7 weeks, so I'm already past that point, but I just have this feeling that if I can just make it safely out of the first trumester, I'll be OK. Weird, huh?

I am so the same way. I want to do what I want and sometimes feel gun shy about saying something to my midwife esp. if its something I really want. I will be moving though next month and hoping to find a good midwife where I'm going.

I'm hoping these antibiotics clear everything up so I don't have to worry about it at the end of the pregnancy. I still don't like taking them though.

annettemarie - I will be thinking happy baby vibes for you tomorrow. Let us know how it goes.

My lower belly skin feels more itchy. I still have digestion issues, working on the right equation/timing of my prenatals and supplements so I don't have loose bowels everyday.

My boobs have that perfect, full shape, love it. My sex drive is much stronger, overall.

For now my appetite has returned to normal, whew. I have the 1st trimester u/s screening in 2 weeks and a midwife appointment at my house the following week. Sometimes, I want to space my appointment schedule every 5-6 weeks and not the standard 4 because it makes me more anxious. I will be 10 weeks on Wednesday. I still look bloated, I have a bump but I feel lie it's a 'I ate too many cheeseburgers' bump and not the cute baby bump.

I just made my first order of maternity clothes. Two pairs of shorts because I have none and a cute tank top for the summer. I'm so excited! Next will probably be a moby wrap who knows.

I'm waiting to see what the antibiotics are going to do to my intestines. Hoping the probiotics are helping. Haven't done anything today so we'll see by tonight.

Oops! I misspelled your name Annette (total typo!). I promise I know how to spell it, I blame big fingers and a small phone keyboard

Just curious if you are open to drinking an occasional cup of coffee? I have quit most caffeine but when I feel constipated then I have a 1/2 caff latte or americano and it does the trick EVERY time! For some reason green tea and other caffeinated drinks don't work, only coffee. I feel guilty about consuming coffee while pregnant but it changes my whole day when I have a BM. sorry if TMI.

Oh, I forgot to mention in my last post that I'm really excited/nervous about my first MW appt tmw where I will hopefully hear the heartbeat for the first time. My Midwife thinks she can definitely pick it up at 10 weeks so I am praying she is right. I am just so nervous because my symptoms have lessened and I keep reading all of these sad stories here.....

I've never been able to drink coffee-- it totally gives me the shakes. Sad, because at this point, I would try pretty much anything.

Decaf has the same effects on the bowels (just an FYI for anyone else interested in trying it).

When I'm taking the zofran I take two stool softeners every time and have to do a glycerin suppository every day and I'm STILL constipated.

So I had JUST finished reading dd a story and was nursing ds when 10 minutes later dd comes back in and has WHACKED OFF ALL OF HER HAIR! I seriously thought I was going to have a heart attack. First trying to figure out where she got scissors (yay! dh left them in the bathroom after trimming his side burns! ) then trying to believe she actually did it (she is the last child I would have thought would do this!) then trying to gauge the damage (3 inch sections in some parts ) and finally realizing she also cut up the dress she was wearing and one hanging from the bathroom door.

I just can't keep up. I'm so thankful she didn't get hurt or that ds didn't find the scissors first.

Funny, I'm sorry, but I had to laugh when I read what your dd did to her hair. I tried to trim mine when I was little... yikes. Good luck fixing the damage!

Annette, the baby pics are great. How far along are you? The pics are so clear! Feel better. Lots of water, and some oatmeal with milk usually help me out.

Rasberry, I miss my sex drive. Glad to see it kicks back in at some point. The only thing I want to do in my bed lately is sleep!!

I definitely need to find some new clothes. Wore my bella band for the first time today, and I either need a longer torso or a bigger belly. And it kept bunching. Without it, even my "big" clothes won't button. Too bad we're broke... we spent a fortune this weekend. My cat needed to be rushed to the animal ER because he had kidney stones that were blocking his ability to urinate. Poor little guy needed major medical intervention. I'm so grateful that he's ok, but it's mind-boggling how much money the vet cost us. Tomorrow, I'm going to ask my boss for overtime...

Beautiful babies Annette!!!!

Funny Face- I can totally relate to the Groundhog Day feeling! My EDD was pushed back by 8 days, so I was truly going backwards at one point :p Hope DD's hair is salvagable, and yes- it could have been much worse with a ER visit

I'm just counting down the days until Wednesday when I see the RE. If the scan looks good, she will "graduate me" and I'll have to find someone else to see until we switch insurance in July.

So glad your kitty is ok. We had a goat last July actually on my birthday I had to take to the large animal vet and they couldn't save him. He was a good buck too. Just totally plugged full of stones. It was sad. I didn't get home until 2 or 3am. They were really good with him though.

I still haven't pooped today. I'm scared.

So my belly is huge now! I caught sight of myself in the mirror tonight at work and thought: "oh crap, I look pregnant!" Not really a problem except I don't want anyone at work to know yet. I guess someone is going to ask in the next 2 weeks if I am pregnant. But at least no one did tonight and hopefully on Wed I'll get to hear the heartbeat. If I hear it, then I won't be so opposed to telling.

Besides, I really want to tell my kids but I REALLY want to hear the hb first. My dd is still occasionally mentioning my sister's stillborn baby and how she is sad about it. I really don't want her to have to go thru a loss unnecessarily of her own sibling! But people will be asking soon so we really are going to have to tell them.

Other than that, I am still fairly nauseated but guess what? I finally bought some more sea bands (cause I couldn't find mine) and they totally help! I am almost nausea free when I wear them! I feel like I got my life back! I certainly don't remember them being this effective last time but I am NOT complaining.

I hope everyone who is sick feels better soon!

TMI ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In an effort to cheer you up, I'll tell you the most embarrassing story I have about myself. With DD, I was on Zofran, and experienced (just like you) horrible constipation. I tried everything- prune juice, coffee, exercise, run-of-the-mill stool softeners, etc. In a last-ditch effort to poop (I say last ditch, because my *real* last option was an enema, and I wasn't quite ready to go there yet, but believe me, I would have), I took a FULL dose of milk of magnesia. By full I mean like the full cap-measurer-thingy. The next morning, I'm standing in my bathroom, in my robe, and feel some rumbling. What I thought was a "toot" ended up being the most embarrassing thing I have ever experienced- that's right, I crapped myself. What's worse is my poor dog looks up at me with this face that can only be described as "WTF?"

It's funny now, but I wanted to die then.

So, if you haven't crapped yourself yet, you're doing okay mama!
