So, hoping that I am not the only one that is packing on more pounds in the 3rd trimester. I was so hoping this time I would be one of those moms that has a weight gain slow down, but such is not the case. I steadily gained 1 lb a week during the second trimester. It seems that immediately starting the 3rd trimester that has increased to 1.5 lbs. No, I haven't changed anything about my eating. I am very strict about eating healthy foods, still exercising. However, I guess this is just what my body needs.

I was really packing it on until I got sick<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad"> . I'm better now but I probably lost weight or plateaued during my bout with the stomach flu. I so much prefer to gain during pregnancy than to lose. I'll see just how much I lost at my next app't.

I had gained between every appointment except for my last and I stayed at 147 (which means I've gained about 22 lbs total.) I think I didn't gain as much this last time because I've been watching my diet a little more as I keep track of my glucose levels.
