So for a few weeks now I have been having these weird spells where I feel off balance...kind of dizzy, but not the room is spinning kind of dizzy. It has been very hard to articulate this feeling. It is a woozy, disconnected, floating kind of feeling and sometimes when I walk, I feel like I am on one of those skywalks at the airport. It is not all the time and seems to be much worse when I am at work..staring at the computer screen makes it worse as well.
Anyway I hate doctors so I have been avoiding going to mine and hoping this would resolve. I have had my ears checked....no problems there and routine blood work my ND ordered was fine. (she thought I might be anemic). I finally caved since DH has been houding me to go to the MD.

He is not quite sure what to make of these sympyoms and wants me to get an EEG and an MRI. I am totally freaked out now and have diagnosed myself with everything from TIA's (mini stokes) to MS to a brain tumor. I have been very stressed out lately (this is not helping either!!) so i'm hoping it is stress realted?? Anyone ever had these kind of symptoms before?? I'm kinda scared

One of my coworkers was describing symptoms similar to yours. Her doctor did an MRI too and a cardiac stress test. Both came back normal. She fainted twice two. About a week after it had started she got the 'cold from h*ll' and the lightheadedness and fainting stopped. No explanation. It just stopped.

I had the same exact thing thing also. One night I passed out while walking around the house with the baby. Thankfuly dh was up also.
But I had so many tests done, and all came back perfectly healthy. Then about a month after the fainting spell I got a double ear infection and haven't had any dizzy or weird feeling spells since.

The same thing has been happening to me -- I blame it on my sinuses. I'm not stuffy, but dried out. It regularly happens with season changes; esp. when it gets cold and we have to start running the heat. I've noticed that when I use the neti pot, it seems to help.
