I had a dream I had the baby at home alone. He came out and then I pushed my placenta right out. No problems. But my baby had this really really big head (like 5 x the size of his body) and huge alien eyes. I was scared of him in my dream and didnt want to hold him. Its been bugging me all day....

Last week I dreamt I delivered at home with no pain or anything. I cleaned the baby off but the cord was still hanging out of me. I cut the cord near him with scissors but realized the placenta never came out. i just gathered it all up, stuffed in my underwear and went about my way. Every now and then I would reach down to make sure it was still there and it was. Eventually I woke up.

How gross is that?!

My no pain no problems birth dream resulted in a newborn who was developmentally a 1 year old (and sized like a 6 month old). I was running after him/her shouting "no fair! you were supposed to come out tiny and helpless so I'd get to hold you a lot! COME BACK HERE AND SNUGGLE!!!!"

I have repeatedly had dreams that baby comes so fast I can't get to the hospital. Not that this is a BAD thing, and it is always a very calm experience... sometimes DH is here, sometimes not. Essentially I usually wake up in the middle of the night in labor, and I can't even get out of the bed because baby just comes. I usually just clean him up and go back to sleep with him on my chest (yes, it is always a boy as well... baby is a surprise).

Now, first of all homebirths with a CNM are JUST becoming legal here, so a home birth hasn't even been a thought of mine, and with being a VBAC I am more comfortable at the hospital anyway even though I know how small the risks are and all that. Just something that eases my mind I guess. Yet, I keep having him at home!

I think it all stems from the fact that my OB feels this baby is gonna come very quickly (3-4 hours tops). DS was 7 hours and my first vaginal birth.

I had a super vivid dream last night that I had NO fluid at all around the baby and I needed a c-section right away. I was MAD.

A few weeks ago I dreamt I had the baby and he weighed 7#2oz - the 7, 2 was very, very prominent in the dream.

My high school boyfriend is the star of all my dreams and was when I was pregnant with ds too. It's so odd. Then I had this dream about a robot... I won't even go into that. There were even commercials
Okay-that is hilarious. I can relate to the first-and I remember reading that this is not uncommon during pregnancy (dreaming about previous loves/lovers). Something about comparing your current partner to past, and re-evaluating feelings/suitability.

The robot dream sounds like the kinds of dreams I've been having-not even baby related, but super weird and movie-like for me (able to pause and such, seeing product placements, etc.) and the subject matter is super weird and non-sensical. Lots of "you were you but not you" and "it was a house but it flew and was made of jello" explanations are made to DH over breakfast. Hormones are wack!

Hormones ARE wack! My robot was a female robot and was anatomically correct and talking to me about girl parts. I don't even try to explain it to dh - I don't want him to think I need committed

I've had an increase in wet dreams. I know it sounds strange but I just don't know where its coming from. DP and I certainly DTD but man, the one I had this morning was so intense that I woke up having an O. DP pretended to still be sleep (granted his was spooning me as it was happening), but I saw the smile on his face. LOL
