Ok, I started prenatals last month and I have always taken some kind of omega supplement. Two days ago I started taking a new omega 369 and now I have this horrible taste in my mouth. Kind of like I have been sucking on a penny or something. But on top of that yesturday I had two teeth filled. So I know this is not really on the subject of TTC but I was wondering what you though could be causing this taste. I am also NAUSEATED and have a head ache. I know I am not prego and I do not even know when my O day is yet. I was going to start taking the soy iso's tonight.

What do you think that taste is?
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2e5c92

Please keep in mind I have PCOS so it may be another 3 to 9 weeks before I have AF. My doc said if I do not have it in two weeks that she will put me on metformin again(thats how I got prego last time).

Thanks for you insight!!

prenatals are believed to be the main cause of the metallic taste, even in pregnancy...

and they have been known to cause nausea...

try taking them at night before bed, that seems to help some women.

Thanks, I didn't think it would be the prenatals since I have been on them a month now and this didn't happen last time. I will for sure start taking them at bed time. And maybe when these are gone I will switch back to the ones I used the first time because they did not do this to my mouth...............or maybe I just got used to them and forgot. Either way thanks so much!!

different prenatals effect women differently... most are fine with me but whatever I was on with my first pregnancy made me nauseous... never had the metallic taste myself but Im usually borderline-low on things like iron and zinc anyway.

Is it weird that I am just now nauseous? shouldn't this have happened when I first started taking them. could it be the omega's? Sorry for all the questions. I know you quite a bit about this TTC stuff have you tried the soy iso's?
