Hi mamas!<br><br>
Our beautiful DAUGHTER <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/dizzy.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Dizzy">: arrived yesterday morning after a short and EAAAAAASY labor at home.<br><br>

7lb 12oz<br>
21 inches<br><br>
My water broke around 1:30am, had light contractions all night until they got stronger (but still really manageable) around 5:30. The MW arrived just before 7 and I got in the pool. Had about an hour of serious labor (still, SO MUCH EASIER than my pit labor last time!), pushed for around 30 mins, and she emerged into the water and my arms! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><br><br>
I feel like there's no birth story to tell--it was so simple, quick, and even pleasurable. Home birth is the BEST!!!!<br><br>
She's nursing like a champion, and Xan is doing great as a big brother despite asking yesterday at breakfast (politely!) if he could stick a fork in her. Guess that means she's done <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br><br>
