Hi ladies,

Thank you for all the well wishing that just keeps coming and even from mamas not from our board! I reconize some from other forums and it makes me feel good!

Maddie is still holding her own and I will be checking in.

I am taking care of myself and resting plus I started pumping about 2 hours after my surgery to get her mama juice started right away. She starts feeding on it tomorrow actually. I am pumping every 3 hours now and once she is using it, I will switch to every 2 hours. The nurses looked at me weird for doing that but when I left on Friday with 7 jars of colstrom, they thought otherwise. Now my milk is in and dd calls it soy milk

When my head stops spinning, I promise I will right our my birth story but I must say, its not the one I wanted to write . My husband coached childbirth book came in the day I had my c section. But I guess I am part of the 6% who have to have one to save the babie's life which was fine by me.
But right now I will focus my energy on getting well, pumping and loving my family already here- dd is really doing great. I am so glad I have family, friends, mdc, and my church rallying around me- it makes a difference.

keep praying....
