And I honestly don't know how I feel about it!

I'm so proud of my dd. She loves using the potty and wearing panties. And now she is totally dry at night as well, which is awesome, especially considering she is only 25 months old.

But I really loved cloth diapering! Just a few days ago I washed, organized and folded my whole stash. Then we lovingly packed them up and gave them to a friend who is due anyday and who wants to try cloth. All of those soft mother-ease, the candy wrappers, the staccinator and windpro covers, even the starbunz elephant diaper--they are all gone! Wow! When I pulled them out of the diaper basket initially, my dd said, "No, I don't want a diapey, Mama." She was happy to help me pack them up to give away. So I guess I should count my blessings, right? It's just sort of sad because I won't be having any more babies...thanks for letting me wimper. Dh just doesn't get it. He thinks I'm totally nuts.

They grow up so fast don't they?

I know how you feel. You see that they are growing up and leaving babyhood behind. But each new phase will bring all sorts of new experiences and pleasures, so take heart mama!

Congrats to your dd!

Congratulations It is a bittersweet time! I sold off a lot of my diapers, and was actually pretty happy to see them find new homes. I still put a diaper on a night 'just in case', but it's usually dry.

Now that it's been almost 2 months, I can honestly say I don't miss washing diapers I love panties & that tiny tushie w/no diaper.

Congratulations! It is sad to put those diapers away. My ds has been in and out of dipes since 19 months (he's 28 months now), and one of these days I'll be packing them up and sending the dipes off to new homes. Some other baby will use them. That's the sweet thing about cloth!

Thanks, ladies, for the understanding. I'm feeling better now. I must admit that it is wonderful at night to be able to place a sleeping toddler in the bed and not have to worry about putting that big ole' diaper on her butt!

When I told my almost 70-yr-old mother that I had given all of Anna's diapers away, she even said, "Oh, not the elephant diaper!"
